RUNWAY REVIEW: CHANEL HAUTE COUTURE SPRING SUMMER 2012

Karl Lagerfeld was inspired by air travel and stewardess uniforms for Chanel's spring 2012 haute couture collection: He transformed the Grand Palais in Paris into a "Private jet", complete with numbered seating, a lot of blue, sapphire and navy, and even a slatted roof which revealed a "faux-sky".

 CAMERON DIAZ                     DIANE KRUGER

 ELIZABETH OLSEN              CLEMENCE POESY

VANESSA PARADIS, ALICE DELLAL, DAPHNE GUINNESS, CAROLINE SIEBER
