The Chanel runway was quite "normal" this time; No lions, No iceberg, No crazy heels. Just pale models, nude colors and flats. the skirts are long and tutu-ed, the pants are loose as opposed to the sturctured coats and vests & the hair is pulled back in a chic chignon.
I was truly impressed by John Galliano and the job he did on the Christian Dior show that was a tribute to René Gruau. Everything from the bold colors to the flare dresses scream classy elite. this whole collection is a success and I can't wait to see it on red carpets [Rihanna, Christina Hendricks and maybe even Lady Gaga]
Maison Martin Margiela Artisanal kept it very colorful & flirty with their liberty dresses & jumpsuits, aviator shades & nude pumps.
Armani Privé wowed me with this collection, everything is so sparkling and shiny it's impossible to not like it! and I feel we're going to be seeing these heels a lot too!
To sum up, Red and blue are definetely the colors to go for this spring, along with sequins, sparkling head pieces & shiny accessories. Loose liberty dresses and nude tutu-ed skirts will rule our spring's days.
